Meet Me

Here is a little bit about who I am and why I have decided to enter the fray of movie reviewing.

Welcome to my blog 'Tekk Watches'. I have had an immense passion for cinematography for some time now. The way these talented people can convey a story on screen that opens up all your emotions and leave you happy, sad, angry and every other emotion under the sun. From the directors, actors, set designers, costume, make up, writers, lighting, effects, camera men and everyone in between. When they get it right they can transport you in to a world of make believe and give you an escape form what ever troubles you have.

Movie and TV characters can really open your eyes and give hope when you feel lost.

My Goal

We all have things in life that we want to achieve, whether its losing a stone in weight or running a marathon, we all have something. Mine is to write a novel and a screen play which one day I hope will be shared for the world to see, so I can make someone out there feel the way I do when I read or watch a piece of work someone has created from their own mind. Now I know only a small percentage of the world make it to the big time but for me it is about just having one person say, 'I enjoyed that.' and really mean it.

The Journey and Content

Walk the road ahead of you and keep your eyes forward.

This will be a movie/tv show review blog but it will also be a personal journey blog. I also want to hear your personal journeys and maybe how certain movies have motivated you, maybe they have made you think differently than you did before you sat down to watch them. There will be new content on most days and below is what you can expect:

Mondays: Make-Believe Monday, dedicated to those Fantasy; Sci/fi, Paranormal and Superhero movies/tv series. I will be giving you a short run down of how good each one is and how many out of ten Tekks they get.

Tuesdays: Toon-Tuesday, for those great cartoon, anime and live action mixed with animation and heavily used CGI (like Avatar) movies/tv series.

Wednesday: What's New Wednesday, will be for all the new and up coming movies/tv series. I will rate them on my hopes and expectations and then revisit once I have watched to give Tekks Final Verdict.

Thursday: Throwback Thursday, shining light back on to the classics and lesser known classics I think deserve more admiration that they got.

Friday: Friday Files, new top ten list of my favourite movies/tv series, actors, directors, worst movie/tv series. actors and many more topics

Saturday will be a no post day, I don't want you getting to sick of me.

Sunday: Sunday Session, lets have a discussion session, lets talk about what movies/tv series you are al excited to see. What projects you have in the pipe line, your favourite actors. Things about cinematography that you get excited about and times where you have left a movie thinking, 'Wow, I have just seen something special' or felt let down.
